The Islands that form the heart of the archipelago (Mahe, Praslin and La Digue) are the microcontinent, indeed nor coral or volcanic bedrock is granite type. One can see magnificent outcrops at the famous beach of Anse Source D'Argent on la Digue island. Other islands (Aldabra, the largest of the islands of the archipelago) are coral.

Tourism is the main resource of Seychelles. Industrial tuna fishing is developed, Victoria Harbour is the first port of transshipment of tuna from the Indian ocean. A cannery exist on square. Several real estate programs bring foreign currency to the country, the most important and the most surprising is certainly Eden Island (artificial island built on a comblages).
